Reflexology is the technique of applying gentle pressure to the reflexes on the feet to bring about a state of deep relaxation, stimulate the body’s own healing processes and help the body return to a state of balance and well-being.
Reflexologists help to correct imbalances in bodily systems thus restoring the body’s natural healing power.
Reflexology has the ability to relieve tensions, improve circulation and allows the body to heal itself at its own pace. Since reflexology treats the whole person and not just the symptom most people find they benefit from a treatment in one way or another. It is an aid for rebalancing the body.
The Reflexologist follows a sequence over both feet which incorporates all the organs, systems and meridians within the body providing a totally holistic approach.
My treatment incorporates an aspect of Traditional Chinese Medicine to give a fully holistic approach by way of stimulating acupressure points on the feet and ankles, helping to clear, energise and balance the body’s natural meridian lines to aid in providing a feeling of total well-being.
